The M. D. S. in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics is a three year Postgraduate program. Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics is the specialty in dentistry that focuses on the alignment of the teeth and the dental arches: the maxilla and the mandible. The practice of this specialty includes diagnosis, prevention, interception, and correction of malocclusion and other abnormalities of the developing or mature orofacial structures.
The program provides a comprehensive curriculum which prepares qualified graduates or dentists to Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopaedics specialists. The postgraduates learn a variety of treatment modalities under the tutelage of experienced teaching faculty.

Qualification: Candidates must have BDS degree recognised by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria: NEET MDS – 2024 qualified candidates who have been allotted to Amrita School of Dentistry by the MCC, New Delhi are eligible to report for admissions for the academic year 2024-25.
