Fetal Medicine and Perinatology invites for Fellowship Applications – 2026

Faridabad

Training will focus on tertiary level of care for the pregnant women and the fetus, which involves comprehensive, investigative workup of abnormalities as well as appropriate management of confirmed abnormal cases. It also entails follow up of high risk pregnancy, training to acquire effective skills to operate ultrasound scan machine, understand the fetus completely (normal and abnormal development), diagnosis after interpreting  findings on a scan,  integrate  the various modalities of investigation for perinatal diagnosis to appropriately  prognosticate and manage common abnormalities, to study the abnormalities and arrive at appropriate diagnosis and treatment in consultation with all inter-related departments (Paed Gastro, Paed. Nephrology, Paed. Cardiology, Genetics, etc.,  provide appropriate pre-pregnancy and perinatal advice to prospective parents. 

This is a non-stipendiary training and fees for MS-OBGYN will be Rs.4 Lakhs for one year training and Rs.3 Lakhs for Radiologists who undergo six months training.

  • MD / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
  • One year of formal obstetric ultrasound training/exposure preferred.
  • Candidates without such exposure may apply; however, they will be eligible for the 2-year University program only after completing 1 year of pre-training at our center.

Vision

  •  To be able reach a reasonable diagnosis after interpreting  findings on a scan .
  • To be able to  integrate  the various modalities of investigation for perinatal diagnosis to appropriately  prognosticate and manage common abnormalities.
  • To be able to liaise with the appropriate departments (Pediatric cardiology/Pediatric nephrology/Pediatric surgery/Genetics) as deemed necessary  by the case and make effective use of the current knowledge and technology available to tailor make appropriate diagnosis and management for each case.
  •  To be able to provide appropriate pre-pregnancy and perinatal advice to prospective parents.
  •  To be able to critically assess available literature and interpret current papers to cater to the needs of the patient and the population.
  •  To be able to integrate oneself and work as a team showing due respect to colleagues and contribute effectively to the team.
