D. M. in Cardiology is a doctoral program offered by the Amrita School of Medicine. Doctorate of Medicine in Cardiology is a super – specialty Post Doctorate course in the field of medicine. Cardiology is a branch of medical specialty that deals with the disorders in heart particularly in human heart. This includes diagnosis and treatment of electrophysiology, valvular heart disease, heart failure, artery diseases, coronary disease and congenital heart defects. During the course one can diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology.
