Ramakrishnan R., Assistant Professor of the department of Civil Engineering, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, has come up with a model to address challenges of sea erosion on sandy beaches. Mr. Ramakrishnan recently conducted a pilot experimental study on the same along with two of his final year civil engineering students Azhar Aziz and Diya P.M. in a minimal beach area in Thimvananthapuram district.
