The World Environment Day, held on June 5th of every year, is the United Nation’s means of ensuring the protection of our environment. Every year, it initiates a new theme that focuses on a way to enhance the relation between nature and man.
In connection with the Environmental Day, celebrations were also held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences on June 5, 2017. Dr. (Col) Vishal Marwaha, Principal, Amrita School of Medicine, distributed saplings to the students of Amrita Health Sciences Campus.
