The Department of Computer Science of Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysore Campus, organized a one day workshop on “Python Programming” on November 2, 2017. Pratik Pai, Director, LogicHive Solutions. Mysuru, was the resource person at the workshop which covered concepts such as introduction to Python programming, Python programming framework, different levels of the development process and single product development at all levels.

Mr. Pai gave hands-on exposure to the Python programming framework and different levels of product development involved in Python. The open workshop was attended by around 100 interested participants from various sections of UG and PG programmes- II, IV & VI Semester students of BCA and MCA. A few staff members of the departments were also present. The participants had practical exposure to Python programming and learned the method to develop an application. An overview of the Python framework and its core architecture were provided at the workshop.
