A workshop on Need for Development News and Stories in Journalism was conducted on October 7, 2015, for the students of B. Sc. Visual Media of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus. Mr. Iswar Daidota, Sr. National Level Journalist & Freelancer, gave the students an insight on various areas of print journalism such as Development Journalism, Magazine Writing, Community Journalism and Newspaper Writing. The news report writing relating to each of the above areas were dealt with special emphasis using a lot of examples from the media publications.
