AmritaCREATE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized a one-day workshop on Online Labs at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mugalsarai, Uttar Pradesh, on June 29, 2017. Thirty-six science teachers from fourteen schools participated in the workshop.

Mr. Chandrashekhar, Online Labs team member, represented AmritaCREATE. He explained Online Labs to the participants. During the demo session, he explained how to perform an experiment in Online Labs virtually. Later on, the participants got the opportunity to explore Online Labs in the computer lab of the school.

The participants showed great enthusiasm while experiencing the experiments showcased in Online Labs. They highly appreciated the content of Online Labs and the training programme organized. After the training session, certificates of participation and free OLabs CDs were given to the participants.

“The training program is good and innovative. This is new concept with innovation and experimentation. It really provides a new platform for practicals and a good supportive teaching aid,” commented Mr. Shobith Srivastava, Kendriya Vidyalaya D.L.W., Kanchanpur, Varanasi.

“The training course is very fruitful for me and this will be really easier to explain the experiments among the students to clear the concepts,” commented Mr. T. N. Yadav, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mau, Uttar Pradesh.
