The Department of Computer Science, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, organized a two day National Conference on Recent Innovations in Computing Communication and Intelligent Systems from April 11-12, 2019, to provide an opportunity to researchers to exchange and exhibit their ideas in intelligent computing and data analytics.
The conference was inaugurated by Prof. G Hemantha Kumar (Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, Mysuru), and the keynote address was delivered by Prof. Murali S.(President, Maharaja Education Trust Mysore), on the topic “Machine Learning and its Pros and Cons”. Later 42 papers were presented in two parallel sessions. Dr. M. Sethumadhavan (Head – Cybersecurity, TIFAC CORE in Cyber Security, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore) also addressed the gathering. The accepted papers will be published in UGC and Scopus Indexed journals as per the author’s interest.
The poster presentation was held at a special exhibition room customized for the event. More than 75 posters were exhibited. Participants from more than five colleges presented their posters during the two-day event and the best poster award was announced. Dr. Srinath (SJCE, Mysuru) and Dr. Sheela (Government First Grade College, Kuvempunagar Mysuru), graced the occasion as judges for the poster presentation contest.
