Ameya Ananth, an attorney based at New York, addressed MBA students at School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, on Corporate Law on October 15, 2018. She emphasized on the necessity of having attorneys in a corporate firm using case studies.

Born and raised in California, Ameya received her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as her law degree from New York University School of Law in 2015. Ameya has worked at a corporate firm in New York and spent the last two years clerking for two federal judges at the trial and appellate courts in New York and Philadelphia.
