SWAGATHAM 2023, the inauguration ceremony of the 2023 academic batches of B.Pharm, M.Pharm & Pharm.D was organized on August 17, 2023. The 2023 batches include the 19th batch of B.Pharm, 16th batch of M.Pharm and 14th batch of Pharm D.

The program commenced with prayer and lamp lighting by Sampoojya Swami Poornamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Mata Amritanandamayi Math. Dr. Sabitha M., Principal, Amrita School of Pharmacy welcomed the dignitaries, students, parents, faculty and staff to the function.

The chief guest of the program was Dr. Vijay Bambulkar, former director of Johnson and Johnson. Mr. M. R. Pradeep, Former Deputy Drugs Controller, Government of Kerala, was the Guest of Honor.

Prof. Shantikumar Nair, Dean, Amrita School of Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine delivered the presidential address. Sampoojya Swami Poornamritananda Puri gave the benedictory address. Mr. N R Mohanan, Center Head – Kochi and Advisor (Career Competency Development) in Directorate of CIR at Amrita discussed on the topic – Placements at Amrita. Dr. Vivek Lakshmanan, Chief Warden, talked about hostel rules and campus safety.

The program concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. M.S. Sudheesh, Associate Professor of Pharmaceutics, Amrita School of Pharmacy.
