The Department of Commerce and Management, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, organised an Industrial Visit to The KKR Group of Companies, Nirapara, Kalady, to give an insight into the practical aspect of Production and Operation management for the students of M.Com. 1^st & 3^rd semester and BBM 5^th Semester on  August 30, 2015. 

The KKR Group are mainly involved in the manufacturing and exporting of quality rice, rice products, spices, spice products, etc. The Officials explained to the students about the various procedures relating to purchase orders and specification, inspection test at selected points in the production process, Evaluation and approval manufacturing equipment process, testing and testing equipment, Perform inspection and tests data and provide information on process and product quality level etc.
