The final year students of M. Sc. Visual Communication (DFM &MP) of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, were taken on a study tour from October 22-25, 2018, to SRM University to acclimatize themselves with the nuances of Digital Film Making. The various aspects of film making such as storyline development, script writing & screenplay, characterization, cinematography, post production techniques that include editing, audio and video effects etc. were dealt with the session. As part of the workshop, a digital film called ‘The Rescue’ was produced by Amrita students and was released on October 25, 2018.
