Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham becomes an active partner to the European Union initiative, The Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation program. In this consortium of European and Indian universities, Amrita will send over fifty students and faculty to different universities in Europe to participate in short-term and long-term research projects.
This initiative is funded by the European Commission. The consortium comprises 16 renowned educational institutions, including 9 from Europe and 7 from Asia. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is one of only 4 Indian Universities to participate.
