A seminar, highlighting different software product models and designs (prototypes), was organized for the benefit of UG and PG students of the Department of Computer Science, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, to guide them in product designing, on March 17, 2018.

Nagendra R. Shetty, Director, Technical Board, IDEA Unlimited, Mysuru, the resource person at the seminar, addressed students on RAD, COM & CBM models. These models are cornerstones of software model developments representing the intersection of research, science, and technology. The participants were acquainted with the process and concept of product development. Shetty, during the latter part of the session, addressed the gathering in detail on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). He further explained the steps involved in applying for patents.
