School of Medicine Students win Awards at the 4th International Congress on Craniofacial Osteobiology and Distraction

Amrita School of Medicine students Annamalai Nadarajan (2011 MBBS batch) and Ramayee Shoba Nadarajan (2012 MBBS batch) won awards for their research papers at the 4th International Congress on Craniofacial Osteobiology and Distraction, Joint World Congress of Asia Pacific & Paris Distraction Conferences held at Bandos Island, Republic of Maldives from May 5-9, 2014. 

The students received awards of appreciation and presentation certificates for their research papers. Annamalai Nadarajan presented on the topic -Scaffolding for Craniofacial Stem Cell Applications. He was guided by Dr. M. Gopalan, Chief of Medical Illustrations at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. Ramayee Shoba Nadarajan presented on the topic – The Timing and Fusion of Cranial Sutures With Relation To Head Shape. She was guided by Dr. Minnie Pillay, Professor at the Department of Anatomy, Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi.

They received the honors from Her Excellency Dr. Mariyam Shakeela, Minister of Health and Gender, Republic of Maldives and the research papers were published in the scientific book of transactions for the congress.
