Prof. Raghu Raman, Dean, Amrita School of Business and Director, Amrita Center for Accreditations, Rankings, and Eminence, spoke at the 2nd Education Working Group Meeting of C20 in Amritsar which was held from March 15-17, 2023. The theme of the working group meeting was “Ensuring accessibility, equity, quality, affordability and accountability in the delivery of education at all levels via innovative pedagogies and use of Edutech.” The discussion focused on identifying and addressing problems that inhibit effective academic research collaboration. The panel also discussed creating multiple effects for a more significant and more inclusive global advantage of the accumulated knowledge and innovation skills.

The discussion centered on the need for more vital collaboration among countries in research and innovation. The need for gender equality and gender inclusion in research areas, as well as improved grassroots participation, to bridge the gap between academia, the private sector, and society was also highlighted.
