The department of Visual Media and Communication, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, organized a 7-day Script and Film Production workshop from January 16 – 23, 2017, for the 2nd semester PG students.
AmritaCREATE, a research and development institution of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, conducted an Online Labs training program at Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Delhi, on January 19, 2017. Forty-three science teachers from eighteen schools participated in the training programme.

Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri, and Cochin Refineries School, Ambalamukal, Kochi, Kerala, conducted a one day coding camp for high school students, CodePRO, on 14 January, 2017. A similar workshop was conducted by Amrita School of Engineering faculty members for the high school teachers in November 2016. This workshop was a sequel to the one which was organized for teachers.
