AmritaCREATE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized a one-day workshop on Online Labs, a virtual laboratory developed by AmritaCREATE in partnership with C-DAC Mumbai for the students from class 9 to 12, at Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Tamil Nadu, on August 30, 2017. Forty-five science teachers from twenty-two schools participated in the workshop.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, conducted a two day National Workshop on “Power Electronic Applications and Control of Modern Electric Drives II” from 6th to 7th April, 2016.
The 4th Amrita Anaesthesia Refresher Course 2017 (AARC), was conducted by the Department of Anaesthesia and Critical Care, on 1st October, 2017, at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. Dr. Sanjeev K. Singh, Medical Superintendent, Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi, was the chief guest of the event.
AmritaCREATE, one of the research initiatives of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, organized a one-day workshop on Online Labs for School Lab Experiments at Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, on September 9, 2017. The workshop was attended by seventy science teachers from seventeen schools.
A technical talk was organized by the Department of Management and Commerce, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, in collaboration with ‘YUVA’ on the topic ‘Uncovering the Management Lessons of the Bhagavad Gita’ on October 11, 2017, for the students of BBA Semester I and B.Com. Semester III of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus.
The IEEE Student Branch Chapter, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, won the “The Darrel Chong Student Activity Award” for the year 2017 under gold category, for the International Symposium on Education, Technology and Entrepreneurship (ISEE) 2016.
