Dr. Hisham Ahamed, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Project Lead at the Amrita Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, was an invited speaker at the International HCM Summit VI held from October 27 – 29, 2017, at Boston, USA, as an invited faculty. He spoke on the topic “HCM in the Developing World”. He was the only invited speaker from the South Asian region.

The Director of Amrita Multi Modal Applications Using Computer & Human Interaction (AMMACHI) Labs, Rao. R. Bhavani, presented a paper at the Ethics in Action initiative held at Pontifical Academy of Sciences, Casina Pio IV, Vatican Gardens, from October 14-16, 2017.
