Biotechnology students of the 2015-2018 batch at Amrita School of Biotechnology qualified the Jawaharlal Nehru University Combined Entrance Examination for Masters in Biotechnology which was conducted on behalf of 32 participating universities in India.

Ms. Anu Susan Kurian, a B.Sc. Microbiology student of 2016-2019 batch at Amrita School of Biotechnology, Amritapuri, was selected for the Summer Research Fellowship Programme (SRFP) 2018 by the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR).
B.Sc. Biotechnology students of Amrita School of Biotechnology (2016-2019 batch), Ms. Shree Viba and Mr. Thotla Vinay Kumar were selected for the Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2018 by the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bengaluru.
The Amrita Women’s Basketball team of Amritapuri Campus, led by Hima K Sugathan, 3rd year Integrated MSc, Department of Physics, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, won the Inter-Collegiate Basketball Championship held at St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Chenganoor, on 1st and 2nd March 2018.
