We are honored to write about the orientation workshop for fresher students, Vistara 2023, conducted by the Amrita LEAP Team at Amrita School of Pharmacy on September 12, 2023 from 9 am to 4 pm. Vistara 2023 was devised upon the 5Cs of education given by our beloved Chancellor, AMMA (Confidence, Command, Community, Compassion and Connectivity) and is intended to be the first step in embracing the new students into the arms of Amrita family.

The program, started with a powerful topic on confidence by Br. Vivek ji. “Confidence is something in us and is to be awakened with opportunities. We must never miss an opportunity to showcase our talents. Facing rejection and leadership are two big steps towards confidence,” he said. His inspiring words changed many students’ perspectives. This was so evident from how many students who were awkward or shy at the beginning of the session turned out to be active and responding by the end of the day.

SWOT analysis is one of the small steps we can take by understanding ourselves our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and the troubles we might have.

We are proud to know about the rich heritage, culture and traditions of India. The dedication of our scientists, beauty and mystery of the architecture and about our immense contributions to the world in the form of yoga, Ayurveda and much more. The session was able to instill thoughts of nationalism in the young minds.

We happily enjoyed the games and the way the coordinators interacted was sweet and made us very comfortable. Thank you for this memorable and joyful experience.
