We are pleased to announce a new and exciting research project, “Tribological Analysis of Graphene Lubricants,” led by Dr. Shubrajit Bhaumik, Associate Professor at the Amrita School of Engineering, Chennai. This project aims to investigate the wear analysis of graphene based lubricants, a promising innovation in the field of materials engineering. Graphene, known for its unique properties, could revolutionize lubrication technology by improving efficiency, reducing wear, and extending the life of mechanical systems.
The project is funded by Terracarb Pvt Ltd. Dr. Bhaumik’s research will delve into the exciting world of nano-lubricants, with a focus on graphene-based formulations. By designing and conducting precise tribological experiments, he aims to uncover the remarkable properties of these advanced materials.
