In a colloquium held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s Bengaluru campus, on 5th November 2016, Mr. Vinod, Co-Founder of MyOffice Cabs, interacted with 1st year students of Amrita School of Business, Bengaluru.
Mr. Vinod began his presentation by saying, “Be a lifelong student!” He continued by discussing Maslow’s Theory of Hierarchy, and touched upon how one should be always curious, as well as be a sales person. He firmly believes that if passion and consistency go in hand in hand, one will always feel successful. Mr. Vinod continued by giving 3 versions of the story of the rabbit and tortoise, which was a wake-up call for learning to co-exist!!
He explained Warren Buffet’s 525 rule, his passion for Strategic Management and followed up with China’s Ali Baba story and PM Modi’s Swatch Bharath. Mr. Vinod closed by encouraging a sense of belonging to India. The students shared that they had been enthralled and energized by his presentation.
