Team Moto Amrita, interdisciplinary motorcycle design and racing team representing SAEINDIA Collegiate Club of Amrita and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore has made a remarkable mark at the Fraternity of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers (FMAE) Moto Student India 2024 competition. Following last year’s debut success, where Moto Amrita clinched an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 2 in the Overall EV Category, the team returned to Moto Student India 2024 with even greater ambitions and achieved them in spectacular fashion.

In Moto Student India 2024, Moto Amrita surpassed all expectations by claiming the championship title in both the EV and ICV categories, securing an incredible All India Rank 1 in both. This dual victory showcases the team’s relentless dedication to excellence, innovation, and resilience, marking them as frontrunners in India’s motorsport landscape.

In addition to these championship titles, Moto Amrita’s performance was recognized with six more awards, underscoring their comprehensive capabilities in both design and performance. In the ICV Category, the team achieved AIR-1 in Autocross, AIR-2 in Design Evaluation, AIR-2 in Brakes Test, and AIR-2 in Endurance Test. Meanwhile, in the EV Category, the team achieved AIR-1 in Design Evaluation and AIR-1 in Cost Evaluation.
