The men’s badminton team from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the pre-quarterfinals by defeating Davangere University, Karnataka, with a score of 3-1, advancing to the quarterfinals of the tournament in the South India Inter-University Badminton Men’s Championship 2024-25.
Throughout the championship, the Amrita badminton team exhibited exceptional skill and teamwork. They secured victories in the following rounds:
Round 1: The team defeated Vijayanagara Srikrishna Devaraya University (Karnataka) with a score of 3-1.
Round 2: They triumphed over VEL Tech University (Tamil Nadu) with a commanding 3-0 win.
Round 3: The team continued their strong performance, winning against the University of Hyderabad with another 3-0 score.
Round 4: They overcame Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda (Telangana State), which allowed them to advance to the pre-quarterfinals.
