Swami Shantamrita Chaitanya of Mata Amritanandamayi Math addressed the students and faculty of Amritapuri campus on February 5, 2016. His talk was titled “Scientific Revolutions – Inner Revolutions.” The event was hosted by Amrita Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks. 

The talk introduced the theory of scientific revolutions, as put forth by noted Harvard and UC Berkeley Professor, Thomas Kuhn, in his seminal work, “The Structure of Scientific Revolutions.” The talk also discussed how the concept of paradigm shifts, as explained by Kuhn, can apply to ourselves on an individual level, helping us to cultivate a secure inner substratum through spiritual understanding and practice, so the fluctuations of the world affect us less.

The event was held at the Krishna Hall, MBA building, Amritapuri Campus.
