International Nurses Day 2019 was observed on May 13, 2019, by the Student Nurses Association (SNA), Amrita unit. The theme of International Nurse’s day 2019 – Nurses: A Voice to Lead – Health for All was conveyed by a panel discussion done by faculty members and had an effective interaction after the session. The session was followed by a video presentation, which showed the values and unique roles and responsibilities of a nurse. Thereafter, students lighted candles commemorating Ms. Florence Nightingale.

A skit was performed by third year B. Sc. Nursing students which added essence to the event. Faculty members from Amrita College of Nursing and all students except first year nursing students participated. The program winded up by 4 pm.
