Close on the heels of two successful international conferences organized at the Amritapuri campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, comes another high-profile international conference; this one at the Health Sciences campus in Kochi.
Hosted by the Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine (ACNSMM), the conference will bring together renowned experts from USA, Europe, Asia and Australia.
NANOBIO 2012 will showcase advanced research conducted at this Amrita Center as well as nanotech innovations from all around the world in the bio-medical interface.
“We will be launching a new Amrita nanomedicine for the treatment of brain tumors at the conference,” shared Dr. Shantikumar V. Nair, Director, ACNSMM.
“We will also introduce new technologies for implants which can potentially change the way patients are currently treated,” he added.
Amrita will unveil a MoU with Nanobiosym, USA for the development of more nanotech products. Dr. Anita Goel, the company’s CEO, will be in attendance.
