The International Day of Artists was observed at School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, on October 25, 2014, to commemorate the memory of Pablo Picasso. The function was made colourful with the painting exhibition of Visual Media students. Paintings composed by them were seen and highly appreciated by the staff and students of the whole campus. The highlight of the event was the film screening and commemorative speech by Dr. C. S. Jayaraman, Professor. He also led a rendering of violin recital by his student disciples. The event touched the hearts of the audience.
