A training program on the Integrated Amrita Meditation (IAM) Technique for the faculty members was conducted at Amrita School of Ayurveda on December 5, 2019, at Amriteswari Hall from 9 am to 1 pm. The day commenced with prayer.
The inauguration of the session by lighting the lamp was done by Br. Sankara Chaitanya (Medical Director and Principal, School of Ayurveda), Dr. Rabinarayan Tripathy (Vice-Principal, Amrita School of Ayurveda) and Mr. Vinod Kumar Menon (Vice President, Amrita Tech). Dr. Rabinarayan Tripathy delivered the welcome address. The presidential address was by Br. Sankara Chaitanya. Addressing the gathering Br. Sankara Chaitanya emphasized the relevance of the Integrated Amrita Meditation technique in the present era. He stressed the need to make it an integral part of one’s daily life and thereby enable good health and wellbeing for oneself.
The Integrated Amrita Meditation is a peaceful way to reconnect with our real center and thereby experience true joy and peace in life. Born out of our Amrita’s Chancellor Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi’s deep resolve for spiritual enhancement, this technique when practiced with dedication and is designed to bring harmony into our lives. The IAM sessions were taken by Mr. Vinod. The faculty enthusiastically participated in the session.
In the concluding session, Dr. Rabinarayan Tripathy honored Mr. Vinod. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Ramesh N. V. (HOD, Department of Rasashatra & Bhaishajyakalpana, Amrita School of Ayurveda). IAM classes were a great success with positive feedback from teachers.
