India’s 73rd Independence Day was celebrated at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham campuses. The Amritapuri campus celebrated with the University Chancellor, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Amma, alongside the Amritapuri CRPF unit, students, faculty members and others. A volunteer-led clean up campaign was also organized in the afternoon of August 15, 2019 and many students and faculty members participated cleaning up the surrounding areas.
