Amrita Center for Cyber Security Systems and Networks, in association with, Traboda CyberLabs, organized InCTFCon, which is an international cybersecurity conference, from January 21-23, 2022. InCTFCon consisted of contests, programs and world-class workshops along with the pre-conference contest InCTF, which was one of the biggest cybersecurity contests in India. The pre-conference national contest (InCTF) saw a participation strength of over 15000 from all over India, including top IITs and NITs. The inauguration was on held on January 21 with an introduction from Dr. Krishnashree Achuthan (Director, Amrita Center of Cyber Security Systems and Networks). This was followed by an address from Mr. Ajay Prakash Sawhney ( Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India). There were special addresses from Ms. Arundhati Bhattacharya (Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer, Salesforce India) and Lt. General (Dr.) Rajesh Pant ((Retd.) National Cyber Security Coordinator, National Security Council Secretariat of India). Prof. Raghu Raman (Dean Amrita School of Business) gave the vote of thanks. There was a special keynote address from Shri. Atanu Chakraborty (Chairman, HDFC Bank).
There were talks on aspiring areas in cyber security all day such as IoT security, Cyber risk and crisis management, secure code review, pentesting, hardware security and instrumentation in addition to an introduction to research in cyber security. Some of the notable speakers were from both industry and academia Mr. Joshua Brown (Vice President, H&R Block), Mr. Dotan Sagi (Founder & CEO, Be-Strategic Solutions), Mr. Chris Caren (CEO of Turnitin) and Dr. Sandeep Shukla (Professor, IIT Kanpur).
There were two-panel discussions on online child abuse and fighting cybercrime.
The event was founded and mentored by Prof. Vipin Pavithran, from the Center of Cyber Security Systems and Networks.
There were around 800+ participants attending the talks each day of the conference.
