Inaugural Ceremony of 20th batch of B Sc Nursing students (2021-22) was conducted on 08-11-2021 in hybrid form, virtually was on zoom platform. The programme commenced with welcome speech of Prof. K. T. Moly, Principal, Amrita College of Nursing. Dr. Prem Nair, Medical Director, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, delivered the presidential address, he proudly presented that the nursing students of Amrita always stood high wherever our students were present globally. Sampoojya Swami Purnamritananda Puri, General Secretary, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, inaugurated the function which was followed by his benedictory address. Keynote address was delivered by Bri. Sai Bala, Nursing Director, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, she appreciated the students for choosing the right profession to serve the society. Dr. Col. Vishal Marwaha, Principal, Amrita School of Medicine, Kochi felicitated the program by sharing his life experiences and portraying the importance of humility, honesty and loyalty to the country. Vote of thanks was proposed by Lt. Col (Dr) Ajee K L Professor, Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi. The formal inaugural function was concluded with National Anthem. An orientation class was taken by Ms. Regina Antony (Associate Professor). Detailed explanation of the hostel rules were briefed by Prof. Anila K. P., HOD, Dept. of Child Health Nursing, Asst. Warden (Girls, hostel).There was an interactive session by the Principal with the parents and the students. The program concluded at 1 pm.
