Project Overview:
The Blended Learning Project focuses on developing cutting-edge e-learning content for ITI education under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. The content includes a series of instructional videos and 2D/3D animations, designed to make critical trade topics such as Fitter, Electrician, Welder, and Turner more engaging and accessible to ITI students.
These videos will be uploaded to the Bharat Skills Portal, enhancing skill development across India by providing high-quality, easily understandable, and multilingual educational resources.
Envisioned Outcomes:
Key Contributions & Impact:
This project aims to bridge the gap between industry demands and skill supply, supporting the Government’s vision of a Skilled India. By providing easily accessible training materials, the project will help scale vocational education and upskill a large number of individuals across various trades.
Recognition & Scale:
The project has already been recognized by NIMI for its high-quality production, including exceptional video content and 2D/3D animations. The team’s work in color correction and video editing has been showcased as a benchmark for other vendors. What started with the Fitter trade has now expanded to include additional trades like Electrician, Welder, and Turner.
We also celebrate the collaborative efforts of students and faculty from the Department of Visual Communication, who have gained valuable hands-on experience through this project, further enriching their academic journey and practical skills.
We are excited to see the continued success of this transformative project, which plays a key role in building a skilled workforce for India’s future.
