Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Head & Vice-Chairman – Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, has secured the following global IEEE recognitions for innovation outreach and extension activities in 2025:
- Selected as a member of the IEEE Educational Activities Board (EAB) Pre-University Education Coordinating Committee (PECC) by the international professional body, IEEE. As part of this committee, he attended the IEEE EAB mini-series meetings 2025 at Bridgewater, New Jersey, USA from 28 February to 2 March 2025.
- Renominated for a third term as Associate Editor of IEEE Potentials, an award-winning student magazine established in 1982 with a circulation of 1.3 lakhs, providing undergraduate and graduate students with content addressing global issues, career development topics, and technology trends. IEEE Potentials is also recognized as a Q2 journal in Scopus
