These fellowships are for outstanding students with a four-year undergraduate degree and three years of professional work experience, to pursue a Master’s degree in the U.S. in the following areas of study: Arts and Culture Management including Heritage Conservation and Museum Studies, Environmental Science/Studies, Higher Education Administration, International Legal Studies, Public Administration, Public Health, Urban and Regional Planning; and Women’s Studies/Gender Studies.

Aimed at building long-term capacity in climate research, the Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowships provides opportunities to talented faculty and researchers to strengthen their research capabilities. Under this category, students registered for a Ph. D at an Indian institution by August 1, 2016 can apply for a six to nine month fellowship. In addition, Indian faculty and researchers who have obtained their doctoral degree in the last four years, can apply for a Postdoctoral research for eight to twelve months.
