Amrita School of Business (ASB), Coimbatore, held the inauguration of their Finance Club named ‘Fortune’ on September 5, 2018, in Sri Krishna Hall. The Finance Club was inaugurated by Mr. K. Sukumaran, Dean and SEBI chair professor, National Institutes of Securities Market, Mumbai. A guest lecture on ‘Economic Reforms and Indian Securities Market’ was also conducted as part of the programme.
Resource person Mr. K. Sukumaran, addressed the students on the role of the securities market and reform measures in the Indian capital market. Mr. K. Sukumaran shared insights regarding the impact of economic reforms in the Indian market. Participants from first and second-year MBA students interacted with the resource person on the components of the capital market. The highlight of the lecture was “buy low and sell high”.
Dr. A. Senthil Kumar, Assistant Professor (Sr. Gr.), Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore, was the faculty coordinator for the lecture. Ms. Santhana Lakshmi was the student coordinator.
The event was jointly conducted by Fortune- the Finance Club and Colloquia team of ASB.
