Dr. Saraswathy L., Professor and Head of the Department of Physiology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ in Health and Medical Sciences for her contribution and achievement in the field of Physiology. The award was given at the 4th Annual Women’s Meet (AWM 2019), hosted by The Centre for Advanced Research and Design (CARD) of Venus International Foundation (VIF) at Hotel Radha Regent, Chennai, on March 2, 2019.
Dr. Saraswathy also delivered a guest lecture at the same venue on “Promoting Women in Leadership and Advancement for Women in the Profession.” She was one among a few elite lady achievers selected from all over the world to receive the award as well as to deliver a guest lecture on a highly relevant topic, in connection with the World Women’s day.
