A ten-member delegation from Dubai Health Authority (DHA) headed by Hon’ble Mr. H. E. Humaid Alqutami (Director General of DHA), Dr. Younis Mohammed Amin Kazim (CEO) and others visited Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences on December 1, 2019.

They were received by Dr. (Col) Vishal Marwaha (Principal, Amrita School of Medicine), Dr. Rajesh Pai (Medical Superintendent) Babu Menon (Head, Marketing), Dr. Baburao Narayanam (Senior Medical Administrator) and others. The purpose of the visit was to explore collaboration opportunities. The areas of interest included training medical professionals: doctors, nursing and technicians, as well as availing training for their students under Amrita Center for Allied Health Sciences.

They were also keen to explore possibilities to avail treatment in selected specialties for their nationals. During the hour-long discussions held at Maitri Mandir, Amrita consultants from various specialties gave presentations. The visit concluded with a tour of the Hospital.
