The TNSCST-sponsored workshop “Cultural Ecology of Environment and Climate Change: Learning from the Past for a Sustainable Future” was organized successfully by the Department of Amrita Darshanam, Amrita School of Engineering, Chennai, on 2nd December 2024. The workshop was inaugurated by Sampoojya Vinayamritanda Puri Swamiji, Administrative Director, AVV Chennai in the August presence of Principal Dr. V. Jayakumar, Dr. Nikhilkumar, Resource Person from AVV Coimbatore and Dr. K.R. Priya, Coordinator & Chairperson. The event was sponsored by the Tamil Nadu Science and Technology (TNSCST), Chennai.

The workshop brought together experts, practitioners, students, and stakeholders to explore how cultural heritage can guide climate action.
