The 3rd Global Alumni Meet was held on 18th January 2025 at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus. The event brought together over 350 alumni, with 250 attending in person and 100 joining virtually. Alumni came with their families to relive cherished memories and celebrate the spirit of Amrita.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries, including Dr. Manoj P., Campus Director, and Br. SrinathamritaChaithanya. Dr.SriramDevanathan, Principal of the School of Engineering, and other faculty members also graced the occasion. Chancellor Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) addressed the gathering with a heartfelt message. She emphasized the importance of compassion, patience, and spiritual wisdom in personal and professional lives.

Distinguished Alumni Awards were presented to outstanding alumni for their achievements. Awardees included leaders like Mr. Abiram Krishna Lokanath of HSBC and Ms. Vinuthna IAS, Assistant Collector in Andhra Pradesh. Other notable recipients were Mr. Rakshit Gowda of the Indian Revenue Service and Mr. TrivikramAnnamalai of Google.
The event featured a cricket match in the morning and a vibrant flash mob by students. A musical evening led by faculty and students added a soulful touch to the celebrations. The campus was beautifully decorated, creating a nostalgic atmosphere for all attendees.

The event concluded with a networking dinner where alumni shared memories and reconnected. Testimonials highlighted the joy of revisiting the campus and reconnecting with peers. Faculty, staff, and student volunteers ensured the event was a seamless and memorable experience.

The meet strengthened the bond among alumni and celebrated their connection to the Amrita family. The Amrita Alumni Network continues to grow, fostering collaboration and global connections.
