Understanding the dearth in comprehensive study materials in the area of change management in the corporate world, ASB Coimbatore facultyDr. Priyadarshni has authored the book ‘Organizational Change and Development.’ The book intends to benefit those students who are interested in acquiring higher management positions, especially in Human Resource and General Management.
Through its 10 chapters, the book provides an in-depth research oriented content filled with corporate examples and case studies. It will enhance the reader’s comprehension of the practical issues under one’s purview while handling critical issues of concern to the organization. A Ph. D. from Bharathiar School of Management and Entrepreneur Development, Coimbatore, Dr. Priyadarshni has published many papers and book chapters in several reputed international and national journals. Prior to joining Amrita, she had been working at PSG College of Technology and had been a visiting faculty to University of Toledo and San Diego State University, USA.
During her 17 years of teaching and research experience, she has bagged various awards, Ramaswamy P Aiyer Best Young Teacher Award by Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)’s Young Teacher Career Award, Dewang Mehta Award for Best Professor in HRM, CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Best Yi Net Mentor Award, and CII Industrial Fellowship Award. In the industry, Dr. Priyadarshni has been a consultant to TVS Group of Companies, Wipro Technologies and Larsen & Toubro.
