The Department of Computer Science, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, organized an orientation on “Cyber Security” on January 28, 2019, with Mr. Abhishek M. J. (Founder of Start-up Cyber Security Company – NeOnSec, Mysore and Member Team-BIOS, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus) as the resource person.
The session, while introducing the concept of cybersecurity elaborated on threats, vulnerability, attacks, tools, basic knowledge on cyber-attacks and the importance of cybersecurity. More than 180 participants attended the session.
