Team bi0s, the academic ethical hacking team, from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, were invited to deliver a talk and a workshop at BSides Delhi, the annual security conference, on October 11, 2019.
BSides Delhi is an annual security conference for students and security professionals working in the private/public sectors. This year, the conference witnessed 500+ people attending talks, workshops and networking.
Ashutosh Ahelleya, a final year Computer Science undergraduate at Amritapuri campus gave a 40-minute talk titled “Security Analysis of End-to-end Encryption in Chat Applications”. His talk was among 10 talks that were selected for presentation at the conference.
Neelam Singh Gurjar and Shruti Dixit, third-year Computer Science undergraduate students at Amritapuri Campus, conducted a 5-hour workshop titled “Intro to Dark Arts – Getting Started with CTFs”. Their workshop was among 4 workshops selected for the conference.
Team bi0s also organized a 24-hour pre-conference ethical hacking competition as a part of the conference, which received 600+ registrations from professional and academic members.
