Amrita Team bi0s participated in the 14th edition of Hacklu four day conference on October 15, 2018, at Hacklu18, Luxembourg. The computer security conference annually conducted by the Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg showcases the most significant of new discoveries in computer network attacks and defenses, open-source security solutions, and pragmatic real world security experience. In a three day series of informative tutorials, many such discoveries were presented.
Geethna T. K., second year BTech student of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, was awarded a scholarship to attend the conference and a reverse engineering workshop by Blackhoodie at Luxembourg.
The workshop included training sessions for ‘Malware Traffic Analysis’ and ‘Hacking Mobile Data and Phone Calls’. Overall, 800 participants comprising of working professionals and cybersecurity researchers graced the event. Team bi0s bagged the first position among the onsite teams in the 2018’s HackLu CTF organized by FluxFingers.
