The men and women’s cross country team of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, led by Maram Reddy Bramha Reddy, third-year B.Tech. student in Mechanical Engineering, and Usha Mundra, third-year B.Tech. student in Computer Science and Engineering were the runners-up in the Inter Amrita Cross Country Championship held at Coimbatore Campus from September 14-16, 2017.
Maram Reddy Bramha Reddy, Usha Mundra, and S. Sudarsan (final-year B.Tech. student in Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Amritapuri Campus, also participated in the All India Inter-University Cross Country Championship held at Visvesvaraya Technological University Belgaum, November 30, 2017.
The other team members include Ajay Kumar, final-year B.Tech. student in Mechanical Engineering; Vignesh R. Nair, third-year B.Tech. student in Mechanical Engineering; Karthick Durai Sivagnanam, third-year B.Tech. student in Mechanical Engineering; Dhanush Devaraj, second-year, Department of Commerce and Management, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Amritapuri Campus; Kalyanam Varun Theja, first-year B.Tech. student in Mechanical Engineering; K. Harikrishna Raj, third-year B.Tech. student in Mechanical Engineering and Gadde Lokesh, first-year B.Tech. student in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri Campus.
The team was coached by Kavithamani Sreedharan, Instructor, Department of Physical Education, Amritapuri Campus.
