The women’s Table Tennis team of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, led by Maanasa B., third-year, School of Biotechnology, Amritapuri, won the championship in Inter Amrita Table Tennis Championship held at Coimbatore Campus, from September 14-16, 2017.

Maanasa B. was awarded the Best Player of the Tournament and was also selected for the South Zone Table Tennis Championship held at SRM University Chennai, from December 27-30, 2017.

The team members included Maanasa B., Anuja Yadav (second-year, Department of Commerce and Management, Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Amritapuri Campus) and Haritha Gargi (third-year, School of Biotechnology, Amritapuri). The team was coached by Santhi C. P., Department of Physical Education, Amritapuri Campus.
