Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham participated in the 12th India Education Fair held at Kathmandu, Nepal, from July 6-7, 2018, and at Birat Nagar, Nepal, on July 9-10, 2018. This is the oldest and most popular Indian higher education showcase in Nepal with the support of ‘Study in India’ initiative by Ministry for Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
With an objective of attracting international students to Amrita, Amrita Center for International Programs (ACIP), headed by Dr. Maneesha V. Ramesh, Dean, ACIP, Amritapuri, has facilitated this international outreach.
The Amrita booth was manned by Prof. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and Vice-Chairman, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Coimbatore campus, and Mr. Renjith Mohan, Coordinator, Live-in-Labs®, Amritapuri. The Amrita team also visited Tribhuvan University, the largest university in Nepal, to explore collaborations and joint initiatives.
