The foundation of this partnership lies in the launch of a two- to four-semester credit-based program that emphasizes industry-focused subjects and to produce the next future-ready generation of skilled professionals. Volvo will also play an active role by bringing in the faculty, sending experts and providing students with practical real-life projects to enthuse and challenge them further.
Volvo will train Amrita’s faculty in teaching the latest technologies in the syllabus; therefore, engineering talents will be nurtured. They also provide scholarships to women students so that such women coming to the world of automobiles can become automotive experts. Training will do much for these women in instilling practical skills along with the confidence to overcome professional challenges within that working domain.”
